Individual achievements

Whilst Witchampton players have achieved many good batting, bowling and all round performances over the years scoring 100’s and taking 6 or more wickets in a match the achievements below are worth a special mention.

27.08.1960

Jim Wayman

10 for 28

With his slow accurate bowling, Jim Wayman took all 10 wickets in a league game against Sandford….but we still lost the match.

1985

Chris Holland

Score 137

In the Dorset Village final away to Ellingham, Chris Holland scored a superb 137 to help us win the match.

2009

Andy Hopkins Score 210

In Dorset Saturday Div 2 league at home to Swanage, Andy Hopkins opened the batting and scored an incredible 210 to set us up for victory.
